February 1, 2010 only cash payments for sessions will be accepted.
Checks and credit cards are no longer accepted due to Kampo's planned
closing on February 28th. Studio A & C - Please call Jon Silverman at (212) 228-1058 for the best rate. Studio B - Not available (see B+M link). * Lock-Out - Any time used after 10 hours will be billed at the hourly rate. A lock-out means no other session will be booked in the time between consecutive day bookings. Baking and Analog to Digital Transfers (Studer A-820 to Pro Tools HD) Analog Tape Baking - $50 plus tax per reel (up to 10" hub). Analog Tape Transfer - $75 plus tax per 1/2" reel (10" hub @ 30 ips) $100 plus tax per 1/2" reel (10" hub @ 15 ips) $150 plus tax per 2" reel (10" hub @ 30 ips) $200 plus tax per 2" reel (10" hub @ 15 ips) Customer must supply back-up hard drive (Firewire or USB 2). Includes calibration of our Studer tape machine to your project tones. Unattended Restoration, Mixing, Mastering & Pre-Mastering - Call for rate. Send us the songs you tracked at home and our professionals will fix, mix, pre-master(stems) and/or master it for CD and mp3 etc. Rates do not include NY sales tax or an Engineer. If you are tax exempt, please send us in advance, your filled out NY State Tax form ST-120. Engineer fees are $30 per hour and up. If you do not have an engineer, we can either provide or suggest one. Assistant Engineers are included with Studios A & C only. Engineers, Producers, Composers, and Musicians are available upon request for an additional fee. Set-up and Breakdown - Up to one hour of set-up and one hour of break down time are included at no charge. Large set-ups will likely excede one hour and result in a charge. If the set-up takes less than one hour, once recording begins, the clock is runnning. Customers must pay for booked time even if it is not used. If you book 8 hours and use less time (e.g. 6 hours), you still owe us for 8 hours. Waivers of this policy must be approved in advance in writing by the Studio Manager. Food orders billed to sessions will be marked up 25% (a 20% delivery tip will be added). Outside rentals billed to sessions will be marked up 25%. A 50% or greater confirming
deposit will be required. Office hours are 10 AM to 6
PM, Mon. - Fri. If your
session requires a
Reception person after hours
there will be an extra fee. Kampo is not accepting
purchase orders
at this time. All sessions must be
paid in full upon session completion with cash (US dollars only). We do not accept Credit
Cards, Money
Orders, Paypal, Travelers
Checks, or any other forms of payment. If you have not paid for your session, we reserve the right to hold all media (hard drives, DVD's, CD's, tapes, etc.). |
| CANCELLATION POLICY |
| Studio time must be cancelled 48 hours in advance of
session
start
time, otherwise, customers will be liable for the full amount unless we
are able to sell the time to another customer (see below for longer
periods). Bookings of 2 to 4 consecutive days must be cancelled 1 week in advance of session start time. Bookings of 5 consecutive days or longer must be cancelled 2 weeks in advance of session start time. For additional rate information and
