Studio
C was a Storyk-Walters designed 5.1 surround mix and overdub room
featuring a Digidesign C24 console, Genelec monitoring, and a
spacious vocal booth. The room had a wide array of
vintage and modern outboard gear , and a professional mic selection.
Jimi Hendrix's Isle of Wight performance for the Blue Wild Angel DVD
was remixed here by Eddie Kramer on the previous console, an SSL Axiom
MT.
In the following years, Pat Dillet was the usual resident
engineer working with such clients as Mary J. Blige, They Might Be
Giants, David Byrne, Laurie Anderson, Arto Lindsay and many others.
